General Summary:
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the VP/GM of the WMSS business unit, the VP/SVP Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship the GM in addition to supporting his leadership team. The VP/SVP Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide sophisticated calendar management for VP/GM . Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts focused on external engagements including executive meetings, customer meetings, speaking engagement and other high-profile external meetings; make judgements based on priorities. Ability to rapidly address last minute changes to schedules and ensure stakeholders are kept abreast.
Manage travel schedule . Ability to book and manage complex domestic and international travel with multiple commercial transportation options while securing competitive pricing options for consideration.
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks which could include: maintaining contact lists, completing expense reports, coordinate both customer-related and internal events, own and execute special marketing projects, and other general administrative responsibilities as needed.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the VP/GM , including those of a highly confidential or critical nature. Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect the VP/GMs style and organization policy.
Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate or higher degree required
8+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting executives at a fortune 500 company.
Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Experience with international travel.
Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
Ability to complete a high volume of tasks with little or no guidance.
Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
Critical judgment is essential, both in execution and understanding when additional guidance is required.

Pay range:
$34.49 - $51.73
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
