What You'll DoEnsure safety programs are compliant (Injury Illness Prevention, Hazard Identification, Hazard Control and Correction, CMC safety regulations, policies and procedures)Conduct New Employee Orientation trainingConduct OSHA compliance trainingMonitor, organize and administer OSHA and CMC documentation complianceIdentify areas of risk and hazardsPrepare job specific safety plans for the customer, foreman, and project managers to include AHA's, SDS's, EAP, and CMC safety programs and policiesCompletion and filing of all required OSHA and insurance documentation (OSHA 300, OSHA 301 and First Report of Injury)
What You'll NeedWorking knowledge experience of Safety managementExperience working with health and safety regulatory compliance agencies at the local, state and federal levelsExperience working with / in state workers compensation systemExperience in analyzing information in accident / incident investigationsExperience with Safety Auditing preferredMust possess great interpersonal skills causing influence and change in the area of safetyPossesses verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct presentations and training coursesAbility to prioritize and multitask responsibilities dailyProficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPointConstruction safety and schedulingThorough understanding of construction safety rules and procedures
