  Job Description

  7,700 years ago, a violent eruption collapsed an ancient volcano forming what we know as of today ? Crater Lake. In the hundreds of years after the eruption, rainfall and snowfall filled the crater and formed the lake. Today, visitors marvel at the panoramic views and natural formations of Wizard Island and Phantom Ship. ?

  Crater Lake Lodge welcomes you with the warmth and hospitality of a bygone era. The lodge overlooks the lake at Rim Village, offering majestic views of the lake?s pristine blue waters and sheer cliff walls. Activities include hiking, swimming, fishing, or touring the lake. The Cabins at Mazama Village are nestled high in the Ponderosa pines, seven miles south of Rim Village. Mazama Campground is tucked away in the forest, seven miles south of Rim Village, just past the park?s south entrance station near Highway 62. ?

  Incredible wildlife including black bears, elk, deer, pine martins, and beavers. Oregon is full of hidden surprises. Whether you are experiencing Crater Lake, the Oregon Coast, or the magic of our local communities there are so many interesting things in our area to explore. Through the summer there will be multiple employee bonding experiences, adventures to town, hiking trips, artist experiences, and much more.

  The Retail Manager is responsible for operations of assigned retail location. The Retail Manager must ensure efficient operations of their store in line with Aramark?s policies, procedures, and client contract. The Manager coordinates the store?s guest services so that staff members and guests experience a positive impression of the facility. Responsibility for overall store merchandising, product inventory, purchasing, and other needs to fulfill operations.

  Job Responsibilities

  Responsible for many of the non-selling aspects of the retail operation including inventory management, warehouse management, receiving, ticketing and distributionWork with HR department to hire staff, ensure accurate staffing for events or store, and stay within payroll budgetEnsure development and training of customer service programs and product knowledgeEnsure accurate procedures for opening and closing the store, including accountability of cash and credit cards, and security requirementsAddress and resolve any customer issuesVerify accountability report of financial transactions to include sales and transfers of merchandise to and from the storesPeriodically check and verify the accurate ticketing of merchandiseLead periodic physical inventories as well as potential count discrepanciesMaintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually helpful business relationships

  Qualifications

  Requires 2-4 years of experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills acquiredRequires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or another related fieldFamiliar with Microsoft Office and Point of Sales systemsAbility to work a flexible, event-based schedule that includes some evenings and weekendsStrong organizational skillsProfit and loss (P&L) accountability and /or contract -managed service experience preferredAbility to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service mode
