The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking applications for faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level under a new research initiative in Human Tissue Immunity and Disease.
Candidates with interests in understanding immune responses at tissue sites, including in response to infection, vaccination, and various disease states, as well as those interested in pursuing studies in mucosal immunology and utilizing systems or computational approaches to study immune responses of translational relevance to human diseases, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Columbia University Medical Center provides a highly interactive, collaborative environment for pursuing studies in immunology, and the new research initiative will provide excellent opportunity to collaborate with groups studying the anatomy of the immune responses in mice and humans, pediatric immunity, and immunology of aging.
