Job Description Summary:
Tenure track appointments are full-time with an initial probationaryperiod of seven years. Criteria for promotion includes significantachievements in teaching, research/scholarship, and service. The awardof tenure is based on potential for sustained contributions, performingbeyond expected duties, and demonstrating leadership and innovation inactivities that enhance the reputation of the University.
The Clinical Scholar Track is for full-time faculty members who areheavily involved in clinical service, education, and relatedscholarship. This track has two career paths: Clinician-Educatorconcentrating on teaching and Clinician-Investigator for concentratingon research/scholarship. Significant contributions in professional andacademic service are required for both paths.

Experience working at an academic institution managing renalconsults, pre/post-transplant care, as well as care in theambulatory setting.Experience educating medical students, residents and fellows inpatient care settings and formal education settings.Job Duties Outlined
Provide care to patients on the inpatient consult service and in theambulatory setting.Provide on-call and weekend coverage for the renal consult service.Provide training to residents, fellows, medical students as well asadditional learners in patient care settings in addition to formaland informal settings.Participate in scholarly activity derived primarily from yourclinical and educational activities.Required Documents
