We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Officer to join our Shareholder Servicing team under the Global Core Operations. This position will be based in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.
Global Core Operations is a first-line business division with Computershare responsible for servicing of issuers and shareholders and undertaking operational activities such as IPO execution, Corporate Actions such as Rights Issue, Cash Offer and including dividend and payments, Share Movement regarding transfer, allotment and cross-border removal of shares, Corporate Communication and Shareholder maintenance and lost holder recovery.
A role you will love
The Shareholder Servicing Assistant Officer will work closely with all Operation teams and Investor Services Team, Client Facing Teams and also IPO team to ensure all shareholders' instructions will be carried out timely and accurately.
The incumbent as a Maker will process on day-to-day certificate replacement cases process, such as issue letters to shareholders with required replacement documentation; and issue letters to HKEX for the stop certificate notification; and administration tasks etc
Additionally, the Maker processes on day-to-day dividend warrant replacement and revalidation cases; FPS/ autopay rejections and related replacement cheque handling; issue letter to bank/issuer for stop payment/re-issue replacement cheque; administration tasks etc
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Co-ordinate tasks with different teams (Operations, Investor Services, Client Facing, Legal and Compliance, etc)Ensure all shareholders' instructions can be delivered up to standard and within agreed timelineMake sure all shareholder replacement request is handled accurately in the system under standard internal audit processCommunicate and work closely with offshore teamComply with all applicable operation procedures and report any potential risk and suspicious transactions to line manager immediatelyAdapt to changing internal business requirements/expectationsHighly adaptable to changing market changesProvide timely support for any ad-hoc/special requirements for example, attending AGMsCarry out any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Team Head
What will you bring to the role?
You will be fresh graduate and a holder of either an Associate or Degree in any disciplines or you have HKDSE with relevant experience from the banking or financial services industry.

Proficient in PC skills including MS Excel and WordProfecient in written and spoken English and CantoneseSelf-motivated, well-organized and detail-mindedProactive, work independently under pressureAbility to meet tight deadlines
