We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and analytics Global Online Insights Assistant Managerto join our team at Jo Malone London. The team are responsible for the Global Online strategies and Global Online Web Development for Jo Malone London globally and this role will support the team achieve a 360 picture of real time Global sales for Jo Malone Online sites around the globe and assist in using sales, reports, and insights to shape key online strategies for the business whilst supporting the team on day-to-day e-commerce tasks.
The successful candidate will have experience in Ecommerce / Digital Marketing within a data driven role and have confidence working with and interpreting data. We are looking for a confident, passionate and pro-active individual with a can-do attitude and great communication skills. Someone with a strategic mindset that is able to interpret information holistically, taking small insights at market level and leverage them to build a picture of performance for a global brand, as well as contributing to a range of projects and day-to-day tasks for the Online channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Online Reporting & Insights
Supporting the Global Online Director in their daily, weekly Monthly Commercial tasks Assisting the team with GA data and insights / actions that feed into Online Strategy Build and manage all weekly, monthly and regular reports and dashboards Globally, proactively flagging anomalies and successes / win Interpret raw data around our online KPI's to draw meaningful insights and conclusions that help shape optimisation opportunities for our brand.com websites Leverage data and insights to help recommend merchandise plans for category pages, landing pages and navigation Communicate reporting and analysis with key stakeholders to share learnings in a digestible and captivating manner within presentation decks Management of all campaign reporting pulling data across multiple sites and markets to provide a clear holistic global view of performance Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Analytics and International teams to ensure key reports and insights are shared cross functionally and metrics are aligned Track performance of any promotional activity across markets as well as the success of any high traffic moment campaigns such as Black Friday Utilise third party traffic analysis tools to gain a view on competitors and our e-retailer traffic share Support Online Director in ad-hoc data requests to contribute to business decks, strategic projects and budget forecasting
Global Online Team Support
Responsible for conducting weekly site audits of all sites globally, creating trackers and report of findings with focus on promotional activity. Sharing these with Region leads to be discussed in Monthly Meeting Assisting in the Retailer.com side of the Online Team in their day-to-day tasks and maintenance of Retailer.com channels across the world Support Global Online Region leads with ongoing requests from their regions on an ongoing basis Assistance on an ad-hoc basis to deliver and organise all the Adhoc and Business as Usual (BAU) Global Online Requests Process from briefing to execution and delivery of these assets to regions. Review legacy campaigns with Global Online Manager and Site Experience Manager and assist where needed with compiling information and decks for this. Creating team research and competitor decks for key trading periods such as Christmas, Black Friday Cyber Monday, Mother's Day etc. Supporting on web-testing and carrying out site audits and checks across our whole Global brand.com sites ensuring an optimal consumer journey Assist in the QA and UAT best practices for any new Global Roll Outs, new Site features or program executions with Region Leads, ensuring regions are inputting, collating and tracking all bug fixes.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
Experience in Ecommerce, online data driven role or online marketing. Strong knowledge and experience of using Google Analytics, Power BI or similar reporting dashboards. Ability to read and interpret financial figures and basic sales reports Proven experience using user engagement reporting platforms, eg Contentsquare / Full Story or similar An analytical and logical thinker with strong attention to detail and accuracy Thinks outside the box when conducting QA and reviewing UX of site templates. A team player who will work well in a friendly open working environment. Pro-active, observant and a keen problem solver Strong organisational and presentation skills with the ability to consolidate information in a digestible manner in the form of powerpoint decks Someone with a strategic mindset that is able to interpret information holistically, taking small insights at market level and adapting them to be relevant for a global brand.
Preferable, but not essential:
Prior experience using a CMS, JIRA, QA testing on staging environments. Some experience using external traffic analysis tools such as Similarweb
The ideal candidate for this role will have a positive can-do attitude and have strong analytical skills paired with knowledge of e-commerce and online tactics, with a sharp eye for detail and who is happy to get stuck in!
