Title: Assistant Director - Sr QA Engineer
Location: 1010 North 102nd Street, Suite 100, NE 68114, USA
Duties: Devise process and execute improvements for Quality Assurance phases of software development life cycle (SDLC). Analyze business requirements and develop software test objectives, strategies, and priorities. Report and analyze software defects found during testing and collaborate closely with other software developers for further investigation as needed. Use bug tracking system to submit, track, and manage software code defects. Test fixes and update automated scripts based on business needs. Develop and maintain automation test packs utilizing Protractor and/or Selenium / Microsoft C#/.NET and other technologies. Apply deep understanding of BDD process and create automation in early stages. Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospective and demo meetings. Implement test automation code as per the established best practices. Provide support to junior engineering team members on reusable libraries and coding.
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus two (2) years of experience as a QA Tester, QA Engineer or in a related position. Must have experience with following: applying knowledge of programming languages in either C# or Java; using Specflow or Cucumber behavior driven development tools and REST or SOAP web service testing; working with Selenium or Protractor opensource automation tools; performing requirements analysis, test planning, strategy and execution, defect tracking, UI quality assurance testing, and release support; utilizing agile processes, including SCRUM, and Continuous Build and Integration; working with QA methodologies, including test plan management, publishing test reports, and maintaining QA metrics; working with web-based technology architecture and data structures, including REST and SOAP API, and HTML; working with Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB or Postgres database; and utilizing Eclipse, Visual Studio, or IntelliJ IDE.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $73,320 to $157,250, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a completion bonus. Moody's also offers insurance and a discounted employee stock purchase plan for limited duration employees.
