  Typical Allocation of Duties

  Supervise, instruct, and train - 70%Supervise, instruct, and train student-athletes through practices and the monitoring of academic progress and through game-day team management.

  Recruitment - 10%Recruit student athletes. Attend high school sporting events to identify potential recruits.

  Assist in overseeing facilities - 10%Assist in overseeing the maintenance of sports facilities and the maintenance of equipment and supply inventory.

  Schedule games and manage travel - 10%Assist in developing game schedules and in managing team travel.::::::::::::

  Position Requires completion of VSU's Annual Compliance Training course (such as State Business Transactions, Drug Free Workplace, Anti-Harassment Policy, Introduction to Information Security, Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Policy,USGEthics Policy, Conflict of Interest/ Outside Activities Policy, Leave Procedures for Faculty and Staff, Georgia Open Records Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and Contracts 101. Supervisory positions require training inFMLAand Worker's Compensation.::::::::::::
