Job Description
Mattel Australia & New Zealand are seeking a proactive and passionate Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team! This role will focus on continuing to build brand love via product range and marketing executions, through supporting the team in the development, execution and measurement of programs.
The right candidate for this role will have effective interpersonal skills, a love of finding answers through numbers, and will be excited to join a purpose drive, fun (we sell toys!) and fast paced organisation where no two days are the same.
As an Assistant Brand Manager you will be responsible for:
Contributing to and executing marketing campaign plans for designated brands in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Manager & Senior Brand Manager.Liaising with Mattel’s media, digital, creative & PR agencies on key marketing campaigns and undertaking post analysis of all campaigns incorporating key learnings for future programs.In conjunction with the Senior Marketing Manager & Senior Brand Manager, developing and implementing promotional and advertising activities to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives.Owning preparation and presentation of Internal and External Reviews.Monitoring and analyse competitor activity to identify market and growth opportunities.Partnering with the Sales team to create new opportunities.Planning and implementing the introduction of new products in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Manager & Senior Brand Manager.Consulting with Sales, Planning, Customer Marketing and Finance to ensure the most effective and profitable marketing of products. Qualifications Tertiary qualified in either marketing, business management, economics, or other business related disciplines.+18 months marketing experience. Experience in FMCG, fashion or consumer goods environment is preferable.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilise data for accurate analysis and reporting.Experience in range management, including pricing and forecasting.Standout communication skills; expressing yourself and communicating effectively and articulately will come naturally.The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, dealing with multiple stakeholders and the capacity to keep a number of balls in the air.
