About Assistant Account Manager, Commercial Lines/Surety

  THE OPPORTUNITY:

  HUB's Customer Service professionals provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services that make us a leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. Through a robust network of resources, you will be among some of the industry's top talent to help guide and support our customer's needs and provide them with innovative solutions.

  Our Assistant Account Managers play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies and bonds. You are the facilitator of positive and effective relationships with our valued clients and insurance carrier staff.

  RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Account Management team with all aspects of the account-service process, Assist in the new business and renewal marketing processes, Assist with insurance policy rating, Prepare insurance quotes and proposals, Prepare bonds and related documents, Assist with policy and bond renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, Respond to policy inquiries, Check bonds/policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy. Assist with billing, premium financing and the collection of premiums, Provide quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriers, Maintain accurate and organized account files, And other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor. The expected hourly range for this position is $16.15 to $24.00/hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience, education and licensing certifications, geographic location, approved salary budget as well as the specific position's business line, complexity, scope and level.   WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  You are perfect for this opportunity if you ... Hold a high school diploma/GED (college preferred), Have at least 1-2 years of related insurance experience, Are currently licensed or are willing to obtain an insurance license within 6 months of hire, Are a notary or are willing to obtain your notary commission within 6 months of hire, Have exceptional attention to detail, and organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, Have the confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization, Have demonstrated computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat, Possess a sincere desire to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
