Marcus Invest is part of Asset and Wealth Management (AWM). Marcus Invest is a customer portal for investment financial services. At Marcus, we leverage cutting edge technology and a simple user experience, we deliver low-cost, transparent savings, investing, and retirement solutions.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:
The Marcus Invest Specialist is dedicated to supporting clients by providing excellent client service, addressing enquiries, understanding clients' needs and providing impactful solutions, particularly for those with minimal financial knowledge. In addition, the client service representative will be involved in supporting key initiatives and campaigns, ad hoc projects, and other internal efforts. With a large and growing client base, it is important that this individual be self-motivated, able to juggle multiple projects, and build relationships to help us better serve our clients and build our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Take customer calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns Answer client queries on accounts, portfolios, and records De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company website or using the products or services Collaborate with other client services professionals to improve client experience Review and approve pending client requests to ensure proper authorizations and supporting documentation are in place and meet policy requirements. Coordinate and process team specific tasks as requested by the business. Work across multiple systems and platforms. Interface with teams and businesses to resolve on-going issues and answer specific policy questions. Provide support and work on special projects as requested. Apply business judgment to identify unusual or suspicious activities and escalate issues as appropriate. Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, quality, client service, information security, and compliance.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of client service experience Ability to deliver superior client service to internal and external clients Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication (written and verbal) skills Strong analytical, problem solving, facilitation, organization, and time management skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Keen attention to detail Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Great active listening skills Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills Strong interest in client service Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or another related field Previous experience working with an investment product Client Relationship Management (CRM) experience preferable SIE, Series 7 & 63 preferred, but not required
