We are seeking a senior web developer for the Asset & Wealth Management Division in Digital Client Experience & CRM team in The Hague.

You will help our scrum team in creating and improving web applications. This can be an React application built on top of cloud APIs to mobile apps using React Native. You are not afraid to try out new technologies and surprise us with bringing innovation to the team. You're happy to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for technical designs, development, testing and delivery of web applications with a focus on mobile devices. Building reusable code and libraries for future use. Application optimization for maximum speed, seo and scalability Sharing knowledge about new technologies and facilitating the implementation of such technologies across projects. Lead and mentor other team members to develop (shared) best practices and development standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATION
Strong knowledge of front-end Web development, with specific experience executing sophisticated visual designs and interactions. Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Expertise in Typescript, ReactJS, HTML5 Server-side development skills, particularly in Java Comfort with Agile Operating Models Hands-on experience writing JavaScript, particularly contributing to a large codebase supporting a complex website or web application. Experience working with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders. Having the drive to build quality software, reduce technical debt, improve coding style and code coverage
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating with UX professionals and visual designers. The ideal candidate will be flexible enough to execute new experiences based on ad hoc requests, wireframes, completed visual design comps, or HTML/CSS/JS handoffs. Experience coding accessible websites and/or with semantic HTML5. Experience with contemporary Web animation and visualization libraries and frameworks (e.g., CSS3, D3, etc.) Design or UX experience is not required but is a plus. Experience working with content management systems and/or developing for CMS-managed sites. Demonstrated experience working in an environment calling for frequent, high-quality delivery. You will stand out more if you're experienced with some of the skills & tools below, but they are no hard requirements. The more these words mean something to you, the better:
