This is an exciting opportunity for a person with 12+ years of experience inconsulting or water/wastewater utility asset management experience to joinBrown and Caldwell's growing Utility Performance consulting team. The idealperson for this position will leverage their experience in linear and verticalasset management to develop and deliver practical asset management programsolutions. Experience in asset management activities that support operationsand maintenance, capital delivery and fiscal performance of water utilitiesis important. Thisposition has the potential to work virtually and can be filled near any BCoffiDetailed Description:Build partnerships with all levels of a client organization to developpractical asset management practices and programs and ensure successfulimplementation.Create and lead program development of workshops both in person and virtually.Build relationships with internal teams that are located throughout the UnitedStates and in various time zones.Complete site visits to water and wastewater plants, collection ordistribution systems, and pump stations, across the United States.Desired Skills and Experience:B.S. degree in related engineering field (Civil, Environmental etc.),sciences, economics, business, or related fieldA minimum of 10 years' experience in consulting and engineering servicesincluding project delivery for water and wastewater municipal clients andcreating and delivering asset management business practices and programs towater utilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability toconduct effective presentations with clients and develop and deliver writtendocuments.Proven technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts bothvisually and contextually are required.The ability to successfully deliver projects in a collaborative fashion andinterface with Brown and Caldwell's local, regional, and national waterand wastewater practitioners as well as help mentor junior staff.Knowledge of equipment and assets utilized in the collection,distribution, and treatment of water by utilities.Significant knowledge and experience in helping clients develop thefoundational elements of asset management programs including level ofservice, asset inventory and hierarchy, data management practices andtools, risk determination through consequence and likelihood of failureanalysis, condition assessment methodologies and strategies, maintenancestrategy development, capital program justification and prioritization,and performance metrics including long term capital planning.Experience in advanced asset management methods and practices utilizingappropriate analytical methods and tools to assess condition and remaininguseful life of assets is desirable.Knowledge of international asset management standards is preferred.Knowledge in vertical and linear asset classes for both water and wastewaterutilities is preferred.Knowledge of or experience with condition assessment methods and strategiesProven understanding of environmental and regulatory drivers for clients andprojectsExperience and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint,Project, and Power BIUnderstanding of functionality and use of various CMMS systemsProven track record of successfully delivering on time and on budget whilemeeting or exceeding client expectations.Ability and willingness to travel to and support our ongoing projects acrossthe United States. Estimated travel 25%Ability and willingness to access water and wastewater plants, collectionsystem and water pump stations, and on rare occasions confined spacelocations.Ability to work for short periods of time in extreme temperatures includingheat and cold.Ability to wear required safe y equipment at sites including hard hats,steel toed boots (or other approved toe protection), safety glasses, etc.Ability to stand for several hours observing and documenting asset conditionsand/or critical facility operations.Ability to safely walk around water and wastewater facilities of varying sizethat may have areas of uneven surfaces to perform inspections and takephotographs.Ability to climb stairs (2-3 flights) or ladders (up to 24 feettypically) to access structures for visual inspection.Valid driver's license and good driving recordSalary Range:Theanticipatedstarting payrange for this position is based onthe employee's primary work location and maybemore or lessdependinguponskills, experience,and education.
