Purpose of Role:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Asset Care Team Leader (ACTL) position is a technical role with primary function in execution of both planned/scheduled and unplanned/breakdown work. The role is accountable for the efficient and effective use of all maintenance resources and materials on a designated crew. The ACTL is charged with the development of the craftspeople assigned to ensure the site has a well-trained, effective, and efficient maintenance workforce. From both a planned and unplanned perspective, the goal is to remove obstacles that prevent the effective and timely execution of maintenance work and to emphasize and implement safe work practices.
Key Outputs:
Responsible for Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental compliance on the crew they lead.
Ensure that all work; including modifications and changes to any process have a clear, valid and complete work order with all specified approvals.
Ensure attendance at daily Tier 1 (operations shift handover) meetings to understand the events of the last 24 hours.
Facilitate the Maintenance Tier 1 (Maintenance shift handover). Validate the Shift Report (Downtime issues, Completed WO's, outstanding issues to hand over/follow up on listed in RED).
Report out at Production Tier 2 meeting with fellow team leads with items pertaining to maintenance
Review all planned job packages for labor requirements, materials, parts, methods, permits, and priorities.
Distribute work orders and job plans directly to those assigned to perform the task. Assign a full day’s work at the start of the shift.
Work in partnership with the Planner/Schedulers to understand work order backlog and priorities.
Spend at least 60% of the shift on the floor engaging with the Mechanics as the Production liaison for Maintenance.
Control/Lead job execution including quality, duration, cost and thoroughness of all work under their direct supervision. Direct Mechanics in the performance of approved maintenance jobs.
Work with Production on any changes in duration or any other conditions that impact the schedule.
Control all maintenance crew payroll, overtime, tardiness, and absenteeism in accordance with established site standards.
Ensure the orderly conduct of maintenance team members with respect to company policy and procedures compliance.
Provide support and technical guidance to ensure proper job execution.
Drive improved Changeover and Changeover parts management.
Ensure accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobs by ensuring accurate work order completion information, including failure cause, action taken, component and condition found information within SAP.
Ensure that good housekeeping and safe work practices are followed.
Own specific Equipment Centers continuous improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Support innovation initiatives throughout the site bottling halls
Actively lead safety awareness and information sharing meetings
Drive crew engagement
Devote ample time to On-The-Job (OJT) training and observation of skills exhibited by each individual to resolve where individual skills enhancements are necessary, i.e. did the job take longer than necessary?
Provide training to Mechanics and others with respect to SAP.
Develop and maintain individual Development Plans as well as conduct regular 1:1 feedback sessions.
Develop Mechanic core competencies in Plant Utilities

Qualifications and Experience Required:
4 year Bachelors degree or equivalent (preferably in Engineering or other Technical Field)
5+ years manufacturing or maintenance supervision experience
Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience
Drive systems/transmissions experience
Basic Controller/Processor, Industrial Electrical Wiring, Mechanical/Electrical Devices and Circuits experience Basic Drive Maintenance, Installations, troubleshooting experience
SAP experience
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
