Responsibilities:
QA Automation Strategy:
Lead and strategize the overall QA automation activities.
Implement cutting-edge QA technologies and methodologies at an organizational level.
Alignment with Business Objectives:
Ensure alignment of QA automation strategies with business objectives.
Drive the development of scalable and efficient automated testing environments.
Process Improvement:
Implement agile processes across the team, including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, etc.
Encourage continuous improvement of processes while ensuring adherence to agreed-upon standards.
Performance Management:
Set individual and team objectives, evaluate and manage performance, and create professional development plans.
Lead critical problem resolution efforts and high-level decision-making.
Team Leadership:
Oversee multiple QA teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Recruit, onboard, and develop staff to enhance the capabilities of the QA teams.
Industry Expertise:
Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices into the QA process.
Advocate for QA automation across all stages of software development.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree).
8+ years of QA experience in a data organization.
Proven and demonstratable ability to deliver on time and with high quality.
Proven ability to manage a large team that includes other managers and/or leads.
Strong experience in QA activities throughout all stages of the SDLC.
Strong experience with a wide range of QA methodologies.
Strong experience leading test plan development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of financial concepts.
