POSITION SUMMARY
Our internal agency team that helps drive the Evernorth Care business is seeking an Art Director to be a fundamental part of our team, from concepting to execution. To do this, you’ll need to be a conceptual thinker who brings big ideas to life through differentiated and unexpected visual concepts, smart design, and a high standard for your craft. All of this with a goal of delivering meaningful brand experiences for Evernorth Heath Services customers, clients, and employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Partner with Strategists, Creative Directors, Copywriters and members of our Studio team to bring insight-driven creative concepts to life with thought-provoking creative solutions
Apply your expertise in art direction and design to a wide range of cross-channel creative such as identity development, event collateral, presentation narratives, video, user interface design, digital display, email, and print collateral
Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends, while keeping the pulse of advertising and design industry shifts and best practices
Confidently articulate creative ideas within internal creative reviews and brainstorms
Quickly become an expert about the robust (and always growing) suite of products and solutions from Evernorth Health Services, Cigna Healthcare and The Cigna Group
Act as a steward for our family of brands, responsible for maintaining consistency of visual identity across all experiences
Partner with account management and producer teams to ensure creative is on brief, on time and on budget
Ideal candidates will offer
Bachelor’s degree in advertising or design (BFA in graphic design preferred) or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in an advertising agency, design studio or highly strategic in-house agency
A world-class portfolio that demonstrates conceptual design work with flawless execution across all channels (must include examples of digital, social, print, motion, and identity work)
A tireless drive to find the BIG IDEA that inspires bullet-proof work
An impeccable visual aesthetic paired with a firm understanding of the fundamentals of design (layout, hierarchy, typography, color, and image selection)
An enviable (almost to the point of being annoying) level of attention to detail when creating assets
An aptitude for earning trust and developing meaningful relationships
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Powerpoint and Microsoft Word
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively in cross-functional teams.
A positive attitude with a “get-stuff-done” mindset
Ability to work from a Cigna office at least 50% of the time, as needed by the business
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 70,700 - 117,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
