As the Area Product Owner (APO) of Wholesale Client Profitability, you will lead this team and leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Wholesale Client Profitability centralized the business logic and calculations to strategically manage Client attributable capital, maintain client financial reporting and proactively manage operational risk by providing information, analysis, and results that drive decisions.

Job Responsibilities
Manage product development and outcomes with funding, complexity/dependency, risk/compliance, and internal/external customer experience impact.
Execute on area roadmaps aligned to overall Product vision using careful analysis of customer needs, competitive intelligence, data/analytics, firm's capabilities and financials.
Responsible for an area product backlog and the health of the area product. You will direct area product workflow through JIRA. Prioritizes and sequences backlog considering audit/controls, data landscape, data center migration, resiliency, etc., coordination of release dates and is responsible for area backlog and health as part of overall product.
Build and maintain strong connections to product partners along with coaching and mentoring a team on best practices, operational excellence, controls, and production releases; enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives.
Own product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
Develop enhancement recommendations to the current solution and develop offering strategies that meet the next iteration of customer need and innovation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Product Vision, Strategy and Technical acumen: Passion for understanding the needs of the business and the customer base, to set a clear vision and strategy for the Area Product. This role will need an understanding of agile software development processes and technologies, (i.e., AWS, Databricks, ThoughtSpot) to transform the product.
Data Analysis: Being able to analyze large and disparate data sets to extract insights and trends, which will be important in a reporting and insights product. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing data. They will be experienced with defining operational metrics that can be used to measure the value delivered by these products and platforms.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the products, channels, and customers. Plus, an understanding of the roles and needs of the support functions that enable/operation the space with these things in mind: product & design, technology, finance, risk, control and operations.
Stakeholder Management: Being able to work with various stakeholders, including executives, business teams, and customers, to understand their needs and priorities and incorporate them into the product.
Roadmap Planning and Execution: Defining a product roadmap, setting priorities, and executing against that roadmap to deliver value consistently.
Adaptability, Flexibility & Problem Solving: The Product & Design and Technology are functions are changing and maturing rapidly so adaptability and flexibility will be essential to navigating this evolving landscape, as will be problem solving.
Leadership and Team Management: As the Head of an Area Product, you'll be managing a team. Leadership and team management skills will be important for motivating and guiding your team to achieve the product goals.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong track record of delivering challenging initiatives using expert-level program/product/function management skillset and experience in managing complex processes leveraging complex data and models.
Proven leadership and influencing skills and ability to collaborate across a highly matrixed organization.
Executive presence, comfortable interacting with, presenting to and influencing senior leaders along with the proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions; measuring core KPIs.
