Overview
This role will be responsible for providing ChaRM/Retrofit support and enabling approved functionalities for the PGT SAP solution.
Responsibilities
PepsiCo will be using ChaRM for managing the changes and transports across the SAP landscape.
Transports are created and handled only using ChaRM changes and task lists to ensure consistency across landscapes.
Retrofit automation is being used to minimize the effort in synchronizing the N+1 project landscape.
Additional functionalites under consideration are cCTS, Cross-Landscape Distribution, Status Driven Import, and Focused Build for BW to name a few.
In this role the successful candidate will work closely with the other functional and technical teams within IT to ensure our key Change Request Management objectives are achieved.
The position has several key objectives and accountabilities. Some key objectives include evaluating and implementating technical capabilities of ChaRM, aligning IT Process requirements with ChaRM the tool, ensuring compliance to corporate standards and maintaining existing operations.
• Provide Change and Transport Management input and knowledge to Release Management, Basis, Security, Upgrade teams and Change owners
• Communication to all stakeholders/Change Owners
• Maintain ChaRM/Retrofit Config
• Create & update project solution documents (FSDs, diagrams, test plans, etc.)
• Work with ABAP resources to align technical specifications to functional requirements
• Adheres to PepsiCo's controls, processes and standards
• Get guidance from global teams for standards and direction
• Provides outstanding customer service to direct and indirect change owners
Qualifications
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
6+ years of SAP experience required, Basis and Solution Manager
MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Deep understanding of Solution Manager ChaRM, Retrofit and Transport Management
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
MANDATORY NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree required
- Requires excellent English communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
- Project Management experience is a plus
- Provide Change Owner/End User training as required
- Deep understanding of SAP implementation activities such as configuration, landscape and system planning and security
- Must have completed at least one full implementation life cycle for SAP Solution Manager ChaRM and Retrofit (i.e. blueprint to sustain)
- Hands-on experience with Change Owner/End User support
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers
- Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business and project requirements
- Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: ITIL tools & processes, Service Now, HP Quality Center, Solution Manager Solution Documentation
- Experience in CPG industry preferred
