Essential Job Duties:
Assist in the management of ASR’s and LOP’s through their lifecycle in accordance with all applicable SOPs, team processes and management guidelines. (60% of time)
Assist in the execution of release management activities in accordance with all applicable SOPs, team processes and management guidelines. (30% of time)
Develop and maintain technical documentation for ASR’s, LOP’s, and Release Management (5% of time)
Provide weekend and off-hour support for release management activities (5% of time)
Experience:
Minimum Required:
Two or more years of experience in Project Management and Release Management
Three to five years of experience in IT Development or Systems Administration
Additional Skills:
A solid understanding of ITIL concepts
Ability to act as an assistant Project Manager and drive ASR’s and LOP’s to delivery
Ability to act as an assistant Release Manager and drive changes to production
Some coding and / or support experience
Some functional experience
Experience in software and development tools used by Labcorp
Ability to mentor staff
Ability to enhance/develop new processes/standards
Ability to multi task and prioritize their own work and assignments based on business need
Able to work independently and in small to medium size teams
Ability to communicate to effectively with multiple areas in IT and the business and provide recommendations for technical solutions
Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses
Recommended:
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent in experience
ITIL Foundations Certification
CAPM or relevant experience
Certified technical professional in relevant technologies
