Duties: Utilizing mixed-signal IC product lines including the mixed-signal simulator Symphony and Visualizer MS (Mixed-Signal) and other tools that interact and integrate with company software; Driving and developing requirements for new features for software tools; Working with research and development and quality assurance to deliver new features and bug fixes; Facilitating the integration of corporate technologies such as simulation platforms for customers; Gathering customer requirements and driving new features; Debugging issues and problems facing customers when using corporate tools; Proposing solutions; Providing test cases; Reproducing issues for research and development to develop solutions for; Identifying gaps in company tools; Developing requirements for new features to address gaps; Working with research and development to prioritize issues, bugs, and enhancements coming from quality assurance and customers for each software release; Working with internal teams to identify opportunities for new integrated features, technologies, and tools; Developing collateral material, training material, and documents explaining new features, methodologies and various topics related to mixed-signal simulation. 90% of telecommuting is permitted within a commutable distance
Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 84 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Working with Mixed-Signal Simulation, Verification methodologies, techniques and languages (e.g. Verilog-AMS); Working with RNM (real number modeling using SystemVerilog) for the behavioral modeling of analog circuits; Analog Design Environments; Schematic editors usage with Mixed-Signal simulators; IC Design and Verification flow; Debugging IC designs; Analog simulators, netlists, analyses, and outputs; Digital simulators, HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog) and digital verification techniques.
