Responsibilities
Manage a team of Applications Engineers with regards to hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Collaborate with the team of Account Managers in diagnosing the customer's requirements, and design analysis that showcase the superior capabilities of TA instruments product portfolio in line with the customers' goals. Work closely with Business partners, Field Sales and Marketing operations to provide credible and impartial consultancy and technical support in a fast-paced pre- and post-sales environment and manage all processes associated with the supporting task. Oversees the delivery and development of TA instruments technical training programs for customers and field sales engineers, include elaborated planning and preparation to ensure the high quality of training content and appropriate process. Effectively manages all demo equipment, which includes managing equipment to maximize use of demo capital, managing process where existing instruments are sold as demo instruments and new units are ordered as replacements. Manage the lab activities and processes, including logging in samples, assigning responsibility, ensuring timely generation of data, issuing of high-quality written reports if necessary, resolving resource issues associated with generating data, maintaining labs in a safe, organized, and effective manner, and providing appropriate metrics for managing process. Provides other miscellaneous supports, such as providing content for applications articles and briefs, reviewing and generating marketing related collateral, participating and developing content for Sales/Service meetings, and support of trade shows and other customer focused events for TA instruments. Qualifications
Over 10 years user experience in Life Science Tools market applications, experience with thermal, rheology, microcalorimetry, or thermophysical technology are preferred 3 years' experience of management
