About Application Engineer

  As an Application Engineer, you will:

  Be responsible for technically supporting Copeland Global OEMs and the internal sales team.

  Requirements

  REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering

  Knowledgeable in HVACR equipment operation and quality metrics

  Skills: Tech savvy, ensures accountability, action-oriented, communicates effectively, manages complexity, customer focus, plans and aligns, instills trust, and optimizes work processes.

  Spanish and English proficiency

  Travel requirements: Up to 25%

  Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  Provide Technical Support for the full Copeland product portfolio (compressors, controls, and accessories) to Global OEMs including but not limited to:

  Product selection

  Engineering Support for new product implementations and engineering changes

  Production Line Support for pilot runs and standard production.

  Product Quality Control and Warranty Administration

  PPAPs and Sample Coordination

  Proactively interact with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, Sales, and Operations

  Act as a liaison between the customer and Copeland´s product engineering and manufacturing teams

  Development of Application Profiles

  Customer Training

  Represent Copeland at industry forums and conferences.
