Job Description
An employer is looking to add an Application Administrator to their team in St. Louis, MO. This person will join a team that is responsible for supporting a set of internal monitoring tools. They will work with our clients 3rd party vendor, to assist in standing up a new tool for software management and licensing. It will be there job to make sure that the tool is up and running properly and support the teams who are using the tool. They will be responsible for responding to tickets, analyzing and troubleshooting application, server, and OS issues, scheduling and attending meetings, and getting correct teams involved, depending on the issue at hand. They could be responsible for things like taking an application off the server, bringing it back up, upgrading it, troubleshooting to figure out where the issue lies.
Skills and Requirements
Experience working with Windows and Linux servers and operating systems
Command line knowledge (ability to run commands/scripts, upgrade, patch)
Experience working with applications, where they were upgrading and troubleshooting technical issues, changing settings, and reviewing logs
Experience working with Active Directory, where they were setting up connections for users/accounts to access the application
General knowledge of supporting applications from a technical standpoint (endpoint security or monitoring applications are preferred)
Experience running trace routes to see why the application is not connected to the network.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Experience working with SNOW software or USU null
