The Reuters Technology team supports Reuters' staff and products throughout the News production lifecycle - from the discovery of newsworthy events to researching the story, through publication and delivery of content to our customers. We are working to improve Reuters news production, automation, and content delivery and we are seeking an experienced and motivated engineers to help build and evolve our technology platforms. 　　In this role, you will work closely with UI engineers and product team members to prioritize and deliver new technology components and capabilities. You will help us build these new capabilities in the public cloud-based to drive improvements in content production workflows, news content formats, and news distribution and display in our various web-based products.

　　Own large and complex technical projects that interact with several other systemsParticipate and contribute to requirements analysisCollaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architectureWrite clean, scalable, and testable code using modern programming languages to support application frontendsTest and deploy applications and systemsRevise, update, refactor and debug codeHelp recruit, hire, and mentor your peers and other engineers as we grow

　　Qualification:

　　Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering or related field of study, or equivalent experience

　　Requirements:

　　You are curious, want to know how things work, and learn new skills6+ yrs. experience with one or more of the following modern programming languages - node.js. C#, Python, JavaAgile development and deliveryExcellent communication skillsAbility and passion to learn modern technologies quicklyTeam player and self-starter

　　Desired:

　　Hands-on experience working with AWS. Experience with some, or all, of these AWS services - AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormationDevOps Experience in AWS, Git, Shell scripting and Serverless infrastructure a big plus
