Title: APAC Payroll Associate
Location: Bangalore, India
Hours worked - 9 hrs 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm

The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team and manage payroll processes for our employees in Hongkong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll regulations and practices in these respective countries to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Your Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing: Process payroll for employees in Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand on a timely and accurate basis, including salary & leave calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.
Compliance: Stay updated with local payroll laws, regulations, and tax changes in Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Ensure all payroll processes adhere to these regulations.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, including employee data, timesheets, and tax information.
Benefits Administration: Handle various employee benefits, including leaves, bonuses, and other allowances according to the local regulations.
Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports to finance and HR teams, ensuring transparency and accountability in payroll processes.
Communication: Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions promptly and professionally.
Taxation: Calculate and process employee income tax, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions accurately.
Statutory Compliance: File necessary payroll-related reports and forms with relevant government agencies in Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
Year-End Processes: Prepare year-end reports, such as tax forms and annual statements for employees.
Your profile
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel for data management and calculations. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and government authorities. High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in Commerce/ MBA - HR. Must be able to articulate well and Should have a good eye for detail.
Your Profile
At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably having experience in Hongkong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand payroll.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and employment laws in Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
