Job Description Summary
This role is a part of the Separation Management Office supporting the transition from GE Corporate to GE Aerospace. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the planning and implementing of multiple large scale transition efforts. As the Regional leader, you will be responsible for oversight to a large regional customer-centric team in the delivery of expert support and end to end quality on service delivery for workforce administration (hires, changes, exits, mass transactions, organizational changes), lifecycle services and related processes and tools. Viewed as a functional Subject Matter Expert you have a strategic role leading the compliance, productivity and efficiency of your domain HR processes and tools.
As the regional leader you will ensure the development of regional best practices, leverages extensive expertise to influence a range of stakeholders and other providers to ensure delivery of regional services.
S/He will use operational experience and expertise, data-driven insights, and business acumen to identify the greatest areas of opportunity to Elevate the Employee Experience at GE Aerospace.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Leads Regional Service Delivery teams and the operational execution for such teams that manage program events and respond to employee and HR service ticket requests and management of level 2 escalations.Leads the effort to build a 'catching' organization during the transition, define immediate and future support needs, service models and operational frameworks. Provides leadership for transitional team during interim transitional period. Services include HR operational service areas such as: employee transactional support, mass transactions, complex organization reorganizations, employee data management, employee lifecycle management, HR systems help desk, problem escalations, etc. Provides transitional thought leadership for the region and manages execution transitional planning and any accelerated 'catching':
Service Performance - Establish, Refine and Monitor KPI performance, variance commentary and actions to improve through established LEAN routines (e.g. MOR)
Quality Assurance - Oversee key inputs/outputs to proactively identify and resolve issues
Vendor Relationship Management - Strategically lead quarterly reviews with vendors to drive performance, strengthen collaborative efforts and delivery of shared success
Events - Ensure event readiness (operations, technology, audience)
Audit and compliance - Manage delivery of process changes in response to audit and compliance issues
Direct and Indirect Team Leadership - Manage, coach and develop direct reports and support teams in the execution and delivery of their operational services by modelling a culture of continuous improvement regarding HR Operational customer focus and process delivery.
Qualifications
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Human Resources & HR Operations Service Delivery. Knowledge level is comparable to a master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Human Resources & HR Operations Service Delivery.
