The Role:
As part of the Accounts Payable team, the AP Senior Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely onboarding of new suppliers as well as updating existing suppliers using an exacting framework to mitigate against fraudulent activity. In this role, you will be the first line of defense for Moody's to ensure our Vendor Master file is current in order for payments to be processed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining compliance and consistency with internal control policies in respect to collecting required documentation and validating suppliers.Ensuring OFAC approval acquired for all new suppliers.Resolving supplier cases in a timely manner with the assistance of AP supervisor as needed.Advising manager on any unresolved or frequent issues that arise that may impact supplier onboarding and/or updates to existing suppliers.Proactively review current process and seek ways to improve the process.Assisting other members of the department in running their workloads and meeting deadlines.Additional duties/projects as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
0-2 years Accounts Payable experienceMust have excellent organizational and follow-up skills.Must have good communication skills, verbally and written.Good social skillsAble to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Computer literate, including knowledge of Microsoft office.Knowledge of Coupa preferred, not vital.Knowledge of SAP Financial systems preferred, not vital.
