SummaryCAE Doss Aviation is hiring a 2nd shift full-time A&P Mechanic I for ourInitial Flight Training (IFT) Program for the United States Air Force(USAF) located in Pueblo, CO. The A&P Mechanic I performs routinemaintenance on Diamond DA-20 airframes and complies with all safetyrequirementEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions.Inspect Diamond DA-20 Airframe, Engine, and Propeller systems whileperforming 50 hour and 100 hours inspectionsAssist with Annual Inspections, perform maintenance, disassembly,rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of variousaircraft components.Test aircraft operations to identify malfunctions.Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft using hand tools, gauges, etc.Perform oil changes, battery service, hydraulic system service, wheel& tire tear down/build up, and other aircraft servicing tasks or dutiesas assigned by Maintenance Management.Ensure compliance with FAA part 145 Repair Station and company standards.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors.Resolve technical problems and troubleshoot unusual repairs.Perform maintenance compliance with environmental, health and safetyregulations, and US Air Force FOD and safety programs.Operate support equipment that is used in removal and installations ofaircraft components.Use, maintain and store company-provided tools and equipment in safe andproper manner.Keep work area clean and safe.Hours of work are 2:00PM to 10:30PMQualifications and Education RequirementsAt least 1 year in theaircraft maintenance fieldLicense(s)/Certificate(s) Required: FAA A&P CertificationComputer Skills: MinimalSpecialized Skills: Composite repairsOther Details: Basic aircraft hand tools and personal toolbox required. Toolboxmust be shadowed.Must possess a currently valid Driver's LicenseSecurity ResponsibilitiesMust complywith all company security and data protection / usage policiesand procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of allinformation and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information,or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall notdivulge information outside company without management approval. Allgovernment and proprietary information will be accessed and storedelectronically on company provided resources.Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.Work EnvironmentIndoors, outdoors, off-site, and in varying weather conditionsWork Schedule: Mon - Fri, Shifts vary. Occasional weekends and holidays,as required. This could shift from a Monday-Friday to a Tuesday - Saturdaydepending on the increased flyingPhysical DemandsClimbing in/on/around/under aircraft
