We are looking to bring on a self-motivated Analytics Software Engineer to be part of the ISIT Launch Quality team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will work on an end-to-end product delivery engagement/support model working with product owners, product designers, data engineers, and software developers to develop, maintain, and deliver Quality Launch Applications.

This position is for a Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain Alteryx workflows and enhance existing workflows as per business requirements. In addition, as part of the modernization and transformation initiative, convert and develop new workflows on Google Cloud using Cloud Enabled Data Integration Tools such as Data Stage and/or Informatica.
With an end-to-end view, the focus will be on:
Alteryx and Qlik software development to support the needs and expectations of quality launch applications both today and tomorrow.

What you’ll be able to do:
Develop, Enhance, and Maintain Data Integration workflows using Alteryx or Applications to process data from different sources.
Lead Design architectural discussions in Alteryx, Pega, Qlik, and GCP Technologies and drive development, deployment, and migration efforts.
You will collaborate with technical stakeholders such as data architects, data modelers, enterprise architects, project managers, and platform architects for the implementation of the large-scale data analytics and BI solution.
Deliver automation and visualization consistent with Ford processes and standards.
Responsible for the end-to-end design, support, and development of QlikView and Qlik sense-based reporting applications, including mockups. Strong development experience is required.
Analyze, design, and define new or re-engineered business processes to propose powerful analytics solutions.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Alteryx workflows along with its development and maintenance.
Design, implement, and perform unit and integration testing, and provide release management instructions through UAT and production environments.
Translate business requirements into structured systems design using appropriate design methodologies.
Ensure quality data creation, presentation, and data flow across systems.
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field
7+ years of relevant work experience in Alteryx and/or Informatica/DataStage workflow development
5+ years of consuming data models, developing SQL, addressing data quality issues, proposing BI solution architecture, and articulating best practices in end-user visualizations.
2+ years of experience working on cloud-based systems (ideally Google Cloud) where you utilized the understanding of the simplicity and scalability of data pipelines and interfaces and Hadoop, particularly with HDFS and Hive
Experience with any of the following: BigQuery, Airflow, Dataflow, Data Lake, Cloud Run, DBT, and/or PubSub
2 years’ experience with any of the following: microservices architecture, Angular, RESTful APIs, Web Services, and/or containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
2 years of hands-on experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, or Rally)
Our preferred qualifications :
Advanced Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field
Prior experience with any of the following: Alteryx, Data Fusion, CI/CD – Tekton, DataProc, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive
QlikView/Qlik sense development experience with native and Vizlib containers
Pega PRPC or Pega DPA development experience
DB Experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Relevant experience linking business requirements to digital product development.
Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats, including process documentation.
Ability to work independently in a semi-structured environment, applications often have frequently changed or vaguely defined requirements.
Self-starter, ability to leverage various resources available to quickly learn and try out new concepts and technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in varying areas of business and enterprise technology.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills, and the ability to energize a cross-functional team
Prior experience in Launch Quality Management
Work in Hybrid mode (within commuting distance of Dearborn, MI– US)
