Job Description Duties:
Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decisionmaking, policy formulation, or other managerial functions by creating and maintaining automated data preparation, management workflows, and visual dashboards.Responsible for collaborating with Business Partners to define and lead analytics initiatives for the end-to-end Supply Chain (in alignment for GMTO, Quality and relevant GSC stakeholders).Lead the Data and Analytics business process, including meeting leadership and facilitation, Dashboard Design, Continuous Improvement, KPI management, KPI governance, new KPI development, action tracking and communications to senior management.Drive use cases for Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics, leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in line with Biogen’s advanced analytics strategy.Develop sustainable and automated data management solutions for Reliability Room analytics.Provide input in global data strategy decisions related to Reliability Rooms.Strategically identify and drive operational improvements to BI, Automation, Data Acquisition, etc.Lead the business activities needed to develop new KPIs and revise existing KPIs related to supply chain operations (Plan-Source-Make-Deliver).Implement design guidance and technical execution for Tableau dashboards.Provide local analytics support for Reliability Room and Self-Service Governance.Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Engineering (Any), Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in a Master Data Management, IT, or Analytics role.
Also requires demonstrable experience in each of the following:
Working within an international and GxP-regulated environment.Knowledge of supply chain and operational concepts and how they are applied in analytics.Using Data Preparation and visualization software including at least 3 of the following: Alteryx, Informatica, Denodo, Snowflake, PowerBI, or Tableau.Building and deploying automated data preparation solutions of varying scope and complexity.Recognizing data pipeline process and system problems and recommending solutions.Prioritizing and executing workload to meet requirements and deadlines.Effectively communicating technical information orally and in writing, including explaining methodology and consequences of decisions in lay terms to senior management.Working Knowledge of Data Science Methodologies (Classification, Clustering, Regression, and Optimization).Working knowledge of reporting via centralized, ERP-type business information systems including Oracle-R12 or similar (SAP).Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles and how to operationalize concepts through data-based decision making, root cause, and failure mode analysis.• Strong Agile Project Management and Leadership skills for influencing and implementing changes to existing or developing new business processes.
