Who we're looking for
Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Payroll and Benefits Customer Service Analyst.
The primary duties of this role are to support all aspects of payroll and benefits to create a positive experience for all Toyota Battery Manufacturing team members.
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the person in this role will support the HR department's objective to put our customers first and deliver exceptional customer support and service.
This position will be based at our manufacturing facility in Liberty, North Carolina, with a temporary location in Greensboro. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of these locations. Relocation assistance isn't available for this position.
What you'll be doing
Provide daily assistance to team members regarding questions about payroll and benefits issues, coordinate with primary corporate providers.Oversee and administer efficient and effective onsite payroll and benefit programs.Ensure new team members enroll in benefits plans and provide benefits orientation.Coordinate and support annual open enrollment benefit communication.Investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations.Develop and implement activities to effectively administer and communicate benefit plans for all team members; work with corporate benefits to resolve plan issues.Support TMNA Benefits marketing efforts for smooth implementation.Ensure time is entered correctly and monitor for correct time codes for team members every payroll cycle.Run payroll exception reports and analyze for discrepancies.Prepare and maintain local payroll and issue manual checks when needed.Work closely with local Leave Management Analyst.Support wage announcement and bonus activity.Develop reports, KPIs, and manage data to support payroll and benefit processes.Develop training material for payroll and benefit change points.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent professional experience within the human resources department.Solid experience in payroll and benefits.Strong analytical skills and knowledge with ability to identify issues, adapt, and implement countermeasures as needed to ensure targets are achieved.Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently and within a team supporting a variety of assignments.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Experience with Workday.Experience with Learning Management Systems.Bachelor's degree or higher especially in Human Resources.Payroll and benefits experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience with UKG or Kronos systems.
