Assess logistics needs and ensure the compliance of Edwards, its Vendors and entities of Edwards. Manage the Edwards LATAM field inventory, direct sales and consignment, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing expired product returns. Work directly with Supply Chain Controllers, Customer Service, Sales and the LATAM Consignment Manager. Support Supply Chain Controllers with the S&OP process, launches, general inventory control.
How you will make an impact:
• Detailed field inventory management, optimize field inventory levels.
• Control expired product returns.
• Create a toolkit, reports, KPI’s to facilitate follow up.
• Provide comprehensive regular reporting to Sr Management.
• Ensure in collaboration with the LATAM Consignment control tower compliance with the current consignment processes.
• Support the monthly forecast review, contribute to the S&OP process (analyze returns, product shelf life etc.)
• Track delivery dates in the system, remedy inbound mismatches and Co-ordinate with 3PL and logistics operations to expedite shipments to avoid shortages.
• Execute discards, returns to vendor and inventory sanity checks.
• Manage product availability after returns with quality department.
• Maintenance of item master in the ERP system for both Clinical & Commercial activities
• Support action plans to minimize Excess & Obsolete Inventory
• Continuously monitor inventory development to achieve target levels and ensure early detection of shortages
• Inventory coverage communication with the LATAM customer service
• Admin activities in the ERP system (JDE), like release orders, approve consignment returns, product movements in distribution network
• Do back-up position in absence of the Supply Chain members
• Manage a close relationship with customer service in case of low inventory
• Contribute to new product launch planning, ensuring supply to support launch on time at budget
• Create and maintain processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions
• Provide maintenance of Edwards' control systems including EPAC.
What you'll need (required)/:
Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of previous related experience in Business or related field, required. Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry, preferred.

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., SQMS, JDE, JDA) preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills

• Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry
