Analyst, Fleet Sustainability Funding & Compliance role will support the US Foods Fleet Sustainability roadmap by applying for suitable grants, incentives, and diligently monitoring funding streams. This role will entail taking a proactive approach in researching policies and evolving requirements to further the success of Fleet sustainability initiatives.
Flexible Work Policy: The Analyst, Fleet Sustainability Funding & Compliance position has been segmented as Hybrid, meaning the work is a combination of onsite (only 2 days per month) and virtual. This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Rosemont, IL
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support day to day funding management by keeping a record of potential funding sources, managing varying application processes, and tracking funds
• Maintain proper tracking and reporting of state and federal regulations, and grant and incentive requirements to ensure compliance
• Stay informed of pertinent policies, procedures, and processes to address significant regulatory, compliance, and reputational risks confronting the company and its evolving environment
• Conduct research of any state, federal or external funding sources and upcoming regulations to support in shaping the Fleet sustainability strategic roadmap and capital plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of funding applications and ensure proper record keeping
• Communicate identified compliance risks to key stakeholders

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 0 -1 year experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office with the ability to present clear and concise information to key stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with consistency in quality
• Ability to manage time and balance multiple tasks with competing deadlines
• Adaptable to new technologies and tools
• 0% travel required
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree in business operations, accounting, supply chain, finance, sustainability, engineering, economics, or equivalent experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in financial analysis, compliance, reporting and insights, and/or funding or grant management
• Knowledge of environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices related to sustainability funding and compliance
• Knowledge of federal grant regulations and compliance
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau, Power Bi or equivalent tools
