Overview
The Analyst, Executive Engagement role will provide editorial and drafting support to the Executive Briefing Center of Excellence team, housed within Corporate Affairs. This role will involve preparation and review of key deliverables, including strategic briefing documents, for senior leaders and other stakeholders within the company, which will help empower their strong external engagement. The individual will also maintain internal calendars, track key issues that may impact PepsiCo, promote knowledge-sharing across the team, and serve as a force multiplier for the function's broader work. The Analyst will collaborate / communicate with associates at all levels of the company, maintain interest in public policy topics impacting the business and be both detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
Responsibilities
Leverage internal stakeholders and external resources to inform and support PepsiCo's executives' engagements on issues of key importance to PepsiCoDevelop strategic briefing documents for the CEO and senior executives to inform and guide engagement with government officials and other key global stakeholders, ensuring the work is accurate, informative, clear and aligned with broader business initiativesCreate and review other key deliverables including suggested talking points, policy memos, PowerPoint presentation decks and engagement lettersOrganize and help lead relevant webinars and other training exercises intended to support teams throughout the functionHelp develop clear and compelling infographics that support PepsiCo's business and policy goals Track issues and help assess how they may impact PepsiCo's business and the function's strategic agenda On an ad-hoc basis, supplement broader team projects and act as a force-multiplier for the function's activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, political science or a related field3+ years of experience in the fields of executive communications, public policy, government and media / journalismDemonstrated expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointExceptional writing abilities and review / editing backgroundAbility to communicate with poise and confidence with associates / senior leaders at all levels across an international organizationExperience in delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines with limited supervisionCritical attention to detail and processesStrong research and analysis skillsInterest in issues, trends and business challenges affecting the food and beverage (F&B) / consumer packaged goods (CPG) industryAbility to work in the Washington, DC, or Purchase, NY, offices, with an in-office requirement of at least three days per week (subject to PepsiCo requirements)
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $67,800 - $113,550 based on a full-time schedule.Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% paid out Annually.
