Position Summary:
Royal Caribbean International's Consumer and Market Insights team is seeking an Analyst, Consumer Insights to fulfill market research needs based on the brand strategy and operational goals. This role will be responsible for working cross-departmentally on various consumer and market research needs to drive business decisions, track performance, and drive strategy and innovation.
This position will also assist and support with the design and programming of quantitative and qualitative research, analyzing primary and secondary data from multiple sources to deliver insights via story driven reporting. This role is responsible for managing multiple projects and requires being detail- oriented in project management. We're looking for a strong, self-motivated individual who brings technical and process leadership as well as a service-oriented mindset in everything they do. In essence, the Analyst of Consumer Insights will serve as the internal expert and a champion of the voice of the customer for the Consumer Insights team and within the broader organization.
The right person for this role is someone who is perpetually curious, passionate about research and the insights that can be gleaned from it. They should be comfortable juggling multiple complex projects at once within tight timelines.
The Analyst, Consumer Insights will report to the Manager, Consumer Insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with ad hoc requests to support a variety of business needs. Understand the business challenge, communicate clear objectives, design and program surveys when needed, monitor response levels, analyze, and report results. Work collaboratively with Consumer Insights team, assisting in preparation and creation of stimulus, logistics and planning of fieldwork, coordination and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies.Be a key contributor to all aspects of consumer insights reporting and analysis, ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting. Continuously refining based on feedback and evolving business objectives. Manage centralization and organization of existing research materials. Maintain project timelines and deliverables, preparing materials and managing presentation logistics with team lead. In all cases, take responsibility for creating deliverables of high quality. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a major in Marketing, Business, Sociology, Statistics, or Psychology 1-3 years experience in market research or consumer insights with an understanding of different research tools, techniques, and applications Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision making, and problem-solving abilities along with analytical aptitude, inquisitive nature, and passion for uncovering insights Highly proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for qualitative focus groups Experience with questionnaire design, sampling approaches, tabulation planning is a plus Experience working with survey applications and analytical tools is a plus (such as Qualtrics, Q, Survey Reporter, SPSS, Tableau)

Strong passion and curiosity for market research and consumer insights, logical reasoning, analytical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong customer service skills when communicating with key internal stakeholders Proven data gathering and analytical skills as well as the ability to synthesize findings from disparate data sources and translate insights into actionable business recommendations Very strong problem definition and solution skills Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-up Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated, strong orientation toward collaborative relationships
