Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s ambition to create long-term value as the world’s most trusted, distinctive professional services organization. The function is made up of over 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive Layer and Regions, specializing in Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications & Employee Engagement; and Corporate Communications.
BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. The opportunity
The Global Strategy and Transactions BMC and Americas BMC teams are seeking a creative, strategic and highly motivated senior executive to lead and deliver programs and activities that drive positive reputation, relationships and growth for the Americas SaT business practice.
The Americas SaT BMC Leader is a critical role within the Global Strategy and Transactions (SaT) BMC team and the Americas BMC team. Working with the Americas SaT Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the SaT BMC agenda in the US/Americas and helping develop the SaT BMC strategy globally.
In parallel, you will also play a key role in the cross-Service Line/firmwide BMC strategy and programs for the US/Americas – helping to develop integrated BMC solutions that position our broader services in the market with our clients and internally with our people.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading our SaT BMC US/Americas team and accountable for the development, enablement and deployment SaT BMC programs. The role also helps coordinate a network of Region BMC professionals across the Americas that support SaT and broader EY activities.
You will work closely with the SaT Americas Leadership including the SaT Vice Chair and BMC teams. Together, you will develop and deploy relevant brand-building content, integrated go-to-market materials and communications that will reach and engage with an expanding base of c-suite buyer groups and other stakeholders.
You will also be expected to build and maintain strong relationships, and to collaborate closely with BMC colleagues across all four Service Lines, as well as Markets and other functions.
Essential elements of the role
Work to create leading BMC strategies in the Area that help drive the Americas EY/SaT priorities across owned, earned and paid media.
Play a leading role in the BMC team in developing the brand and go-to-market strategies, objectives and, in collaboration with leaders across BMC as part of the integrated strategy, planning and measurement process.
Critical role in overseeing content development, working in tandem with SaT leaders and SME in the US to develop differentiated thought leadership.
Strategy and oversight of marcomms and engagement programs for SaT in the US/Americas, aligned with broader EY initiatives.
Engage proactively with stakeholders on priorities aligned with business objectives.
Provide SaT input to broader US/Americas firmwide program development, as appropriate, and work with other Service Line BMC leaders in the US/Americas to collaborate around shared priorities and opportunities.
Play an active role in broader Americas BMC forums to ensure integrated and appropriately sequenced activities, both internally and externally.
Manage and engage talent across the US/Americas SaT BMC team.
Support methods for driving innovation and change across the organization.
Take a data-driven, KPI approach to measurement and ensure ROI on all programs – internal and external – is demonstrated.
Take an organizational-level view of implications; manage competing forces and drive understanding, motivation and stakeholder value.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on market issues, trends and long-term implications for EY BMC strategy generally.

Experience
Strong track record and experience of brand and marketing strategies spanning owned, earned and paid media
A track record of developing creative and credible ideas for content and communications
Deep experience of thought leadership – from origination to deployment – and overseeing teams focused on content development
Excellent writing, communications and presentation skills and abilities
Strong influencing and networking skills
Experience of working in and managing diverse teams
Strong understanding of business strategy and economic concepts and disruptive innovation required to keep up with latest developments, including the environmental factors that may impact EY and its markets, particularly in the areas of technology and regulation
10+ years of mid-senior level external communications/marketing experience
Demonstrated experience in leading digital marketing and channel management
Strategic understanding of public relations and social media planning and programs
Proven experience in leading key program and content execution, and the design and delivery of project KPIs and metrics.
What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $174,500 to $336,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $209,500 to $381,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
