This is a remote position. To help our teams work together effectively, you will be located in the Eastern Standard Time timezone. As an Ambassador Program Manager, you'll help build the roadmap for Atlassian's on- and offline communities and contribute to projects that help scale ambassador programs globally. You'll work primarily with Atlassian Community Leaders, who are the backbone of all things community. These are passionate Atlassian users who volunteer their time to host local events and help us scale our online community. They are enthusiastic about Atlassian products and practices, provide guidance to other users, enjoy building connections, like solving complex problems with Atlassian products, and are change-makers who drive the use of our products in all industries.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $115,000 - $153,400
Zone B: $103,500 - $138,000
Zone C: $95,500 - $127,300
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

We're looking for someone with extensive experience in managing, building & scaling communities, online and through events. We want someone with proven success in the Community industry and who has volunteer management experience at a tech company comparable to ours. This person will need to hit the ground running so we will be aiming for leaders in the space who have a proven track record. This includes:
3-5+ years of experience in Ambassador Programs/Community Manager roles where you managed, built and scaled communities, online and through events.Background in volunteer management (preferably in the tech space)Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively within distributed teamsYou're a strong communicator and have excellent writing skillsYou have experience managing complex programs and overseeing cross-team projectsYou've introduced new ambassador programs and influenced their strategyYou're energized by building relationships with a diverse group of people and attending user-driven events
