Job Purpose/Summary:
The Airframe & Power Plant Technician II is responsible for the maintenance, inspection and modifications to rotorcraft in support of Test and Evaluation Programs. This role will ensure the safe execution of assembly, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections, minor and major modifications in accordance with applicable Supernal and industry guidelines.

* Responsibilities and Duties
* Interface with Program & Project Leaders, Engineering, Safety, Quality Management, Procurement, Program Management Office, and Test organization members
* Aircraft Minor and Major Modification Execution and Sign-off including submitting FAA form 337
* Routine Maintenance
* Annual Inspections
* Test Article Build Up and Maintenance
* Track and Balance
* Trouble Shooting of Aircraft and Test Systems
* General Ground Operations including jacking, towing, fueling, and weight and balance
* Electrical Assembly and Repair
* Responsible for accurately completing all required paperwork
* Responsible for the coordination of aircraft and test asset maintenance schedules.
* Perform build-up and maintenance of test articles, ensuring that quality objectives, configuration control, and conformity requirements are met
* Managing the logistics for new parts / supplies when necessary
* Other duties as assigned
* Education/Experience:
* Minimum GED or HS diploma required; college degree preferred
* Minimum seven (7) years of experience as an Airframe and Power Plant Technician (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered for this role)
* Minimum two (2) years of experience with an Inspection Authorization (IA)
* Rotorcraft Experience
* Familiar with standard and non-standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the aviation field

* Sense of urgency, proactive delivery of communication and follow up
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite
* Desired Skills
* Current Airframe and Powerplant License with Inspector Authorization
* Experimental Flight Test Experience preferred null
