Description: This position may require rotational OCONUS deployments. Inspects, troubleshoots, and performs scheduled and unscheduled organizational level maintenance utilizing applicable Air Force directives/instructions on MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). Performs acceptance, and transfer inspections, towing, servicing, and ground handling actions. Removes and replaces line replaceable units & flight control components. Ensures complete and accurate documentation of AFTO 781 series forms and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) in accordance with Air Force directives. Identifies and communicates maintenance and support requirements to the flight line expediter or production supervisor. Performs RPA & equipment packing/shipping to fulfill worldwide mobility taskings. Provides, monitors, and manages technical training. Conducts task evaluations to assigned personnel. Informs and provides aircraft status updates to Shift Lead and the Maintenance Operations Control Center. Verifies MICAP conditions exist and reviews MICAP‘s status daily for accuracy. Ensures strict compliance and adherence with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance. Ensures compliance with applicable government safety directives, standards, and industrial safety publications. Encourages a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no lost time accidents.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have at least seven (7) years experience in aircraft maintenance with at least one (1) year experience in a leadership role equivalent to an U.S. Air Force Maintenance Unit Flightline Expeditor. Must have at least 1 year experience on MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft. Must have a current Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance if required by the government.
Desired Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of applicable maintenance directives listed in Air Force Instruction 21-101. Possess the ability to cultivate relations and building partnerships at all levels within LMCO. Demonstrated ability for problem solving and prioritizing multiple projects. Understanding of ISO 9001:2018/AS9100 quality standards and related federal/state/local laws/regulations.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
