Job Description
The AI Software Architect position within Client Computing Group (CCG) is chartered to identify and drive key strategic initiatives to advance the end-2-end product development methodology by leveraging Augmented Intelligence methodology (combining human and machine intelligence). The job requires partnering with domain experts across various areas of Intel product development (CCG and partnering organizations), EDA vendors/developers, system, packaging, silicon, uArch. and validation teams to architect, implement and deploy best-in-class solutions for key aspects of Intel product development. The position requires significant technical depth and experience with machine learning/AI and computational science, physical design, uArch and validation.
This job requires the development and implementation of new AI models to solve high value design problems. Utilizes familiarity with state of the art AI methods and tools to perform applied research, adapting AI methods to e2e design challenges and inventing new methods for solving them, including machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing (LLM) computer vision, timeseries prediction, tabular data modeling, or pattern finding. Completes the full research cycle from literature survey, domain background learning, through performing the research, developing a proof of concept, and providing a production ready model.
Qualifications
MS degree (PhD preferred)10+ years of extensive knowledge of the overall silicon-packaging-system design and validation , including physical design, workload/performance analysis and uArch. design or related experience10+ years of experience with design tools and flows, prototype/reference designs5+ years of experience with strong AI, data science and programming, design automation skills

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $225,175.00-$359,585.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
