  AI Product Sales and Business Development Director

  Position Description

  CGI is seeking an AI Product Sales and Business Development Director for our Emerging Technology Practice. In this leadership role the candidate will be responsible for leading the sales efforts of our artificial intelligence (AI) products and services. Your primary objective is to drive revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients, and leading a high-performing sales team. The candidate should be well versed with different AI/ML methodologies including Generative AI, good understanding of full stack technologies, and agile methodologies, has proven leadership skill. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product / project development team, and customer to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of AI solutions.

  • Candidates must be willing to work eastern time zone hours

  • Prior experience working with Consulting company.

  • Key Skills required: AI Products sales across industry verticals, Product Development, strong knowledge in AI / ML, Conversational AI, Hyper Automation & Blockchain technology's is must.

  • Prior experience working with startups is critical

  Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for AI products and services.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Develop and refine the overall sales strategy, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market plans. Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions

  • Collaborate with marketing to create effective sales collateral and campaigns.

  • Act as a key point of contact for high-value clients, addressing concerns and ensuring their needs are met.

  • Collaborate with product development teams to communicate market needs and contribute to product roadmap planning.

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

  • 10 + years of proven track record in sales leadership roles, preferably in AI or technology-related.

  • Experience working as Business Development of AI products and services.

  • StronUnderstanding of machine learning, data analytics, and related technologies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $146,100 - $223,000.
