DAIS responsibility spans data center workloads from generative AI and deep learning to analytics, HPC, and graphics - all of which are intertwined in the future of computing.
DAIS Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) organization to drive our customer technical engagement. CSE drives design-in, onboarding and architecting solutions for their key care abouts from silicon all the way to systems. We engage with OxM and CSPs, and their customers, to build deep technical knowledge of their AI infrastructure and help drive customer success.
CSE is seeking AI engineer in DAIS Customer Solution Engineering Team.
As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Infra Application Engineer your role will perform the following:
Be a technical expert on all accelerator products - work closely with the team to secure design wins and lead support of the product.
Co-work with customers on their data center design with DAIS accelerators, including rack, power, network, storage, cooling, CPU host, etc.
Give advisory on datacenter customers' system validation/qualification process and success criteria.
Troubleshooting (onsite or remote) system-level issues (HW/SW/FW) reported on customers side and fixing/triaging it.
Focal point to backend HW/FW team as well as to OEM vendor.
Identify the gap between release and production environment on the customer side (OS distribution, kernel, management API, etc.).
Enable release (FW/KMD/Synapse/Framework/tool) in customer production environment and help customer upgrade smoothly.
Integrate infra component (K8S device plugin, Docker runtime, etc.) into the production environment (VM/docker/orchestration).
Develop SW tool/script to meet internal/external requirement.

You must possess the minimum education requirements noted below and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 9+ years of experience or
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of experience
8+ years of experience in technical customer engagement in the cloud and/or data center industry
Ecosystem enabling and/or industry standards development experience preferred.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $162,041.00-$259,425.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
