Healthfirst’s 2024 Summer Trailblazer Internship is a 10-week paid program beginning on June 3, 2024. This is an immersive and interactive learning experience, that lays a foundation for continued leadership development. Interns do impactful work, collaborating with other interns, employees, and business leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions.

Investigate, Develop, and Wireframe HR Data Models leveraging AI Tools and Methods
The Team:
The People Analytics Team is part of Human Resources and utilizes a data-driven approach to inform and improve people practices, programs, and processes. The team's objective is to establish a robust organizational capability that leverages people analytics to influence Healthfirst's business strategy and results. By providing analytical capacity , ranging from reporting and metrics to advanced analytics, the people analytics team helps Healthfirst uncover new insights, solve people problems, and make informed HR decisions.
Objective
The objective of this project is to make advancements in how we leverage HR data and analytics. By integrating AI with HR. The project will look at ways to streamline HR data management, provide deeper insights, promote innovation, and enhance HR decision-making. This initiative aligns with our overall goals of leveraging more sophisticated Tools and Resources to enhance the employee value proposition.

A comprehensive suite of AI-driven HR analytics tool(s), customized for our use.
User-friendly wireframes and interfaces for seamless interaction with the AI system.
A detailed report-out on the future state of HR data and analytics, along with recommendations for continuous improvement
Other documentation and procedure guides where needed
Skills needed/developed
Understand HR business processes, understand AI research techniques
Ability to communicate data problems and feasible solutions to a variety of stakeholders
Knowledge of tools such as: Python, SQL, AWS Redshift
Experience with data visualization using PowerBI , Google Analytics, Tableau , Qlik Sense, etc
Program Requirements
Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
