A week in the life of the AH64D Maintenance Test Pilot/Maintenance Evaluator:This is a flying position.Serve as a AH-64DMaintenance Test Pilot and Evaluatorto Kuwait Armed Forces.Conduct informal and formaltraining and evaluation of KAFMaintenance Test PilotsAssist the KAFmaintenance effort by conducting maintenance operational checks, ground run-ups, check flights, and maintenance test flights to ensure operational readiness of KAFaircraft IAW applicable Flight Operating Procedure (FOP).Train, progress, and evaluate KAFdesignated Aviators.Location: Ali Al Salem Air Base, KuwaitJob Requirements:
Must be previously qualified as an AH-64D Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator.Must have a minimum of 300 AH-64D/E Maintenance Test Pilot flight hours and a minimum of 1500 total rotary wing flight experience.Must have 5 years prior experience as a Maintenance Test PilotMust have flown in an AH-64D/E within 180 days.Other RequirementsMust completed Physical Exam within last 12 MonthsNot possess any chronic physical conditions that would prevent performance of duties in a semi-austere, tropical environment with limited access to medical careAbility to present proof of negative HIV test within 90 days of traveling overseasMust possess a current US Tourist (Blue) Passport (Passport must not expire within 12-months of being hired)
