Come and grow with us!General Purpose and Scope of Position:The Inside Sales Manager provides leadership and direction to the inside sales team. The Sales Manager also offers assistance with recruitment, training and performance management of the inside sales force.Key Skills, Abilities and Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Agriculture, Business, or a related field2+ years of experience in B2B sales and/or business development, preferably in the agricultural sectorExperience with people managementCompetent computer skills (including Microsoft Office)Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship skillsProficiency in understanding agricultural products and basic agronomyTravel up to 50%Key Personal Attributes:Opportunity mindset, agility, and innovation in identifying growthCustomer-first approach with a focus on relationship-buildingProactive and ambitious in achieving sales targetsCollaborative team player with a keen eye for detailsAdaptable to market changes and receptive to feedbackResponsibilities and Key Deliverables:Recruiting, training, and supervising members of the inside sales team and regularly evaluating their performance.Working with field training coordinators and the Learning and Development team for training resources.Educating inside sales staff on effectively answering common customer questions.Recommending and implementing improvements to current sales practices and procedures as needed.Addressing and resolving customer complaints.Pre-season customer analytics (identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities)Pre-season, analyze customers' sales history to identify opportunities for cross-or upselling across the W-E portfolio of products and servicesOrder issue resolutionStrong analytical, negotiation, problem solving and relationship skillsInternal: DMs/sales teams, Operations, marketing (to ensure product knowledge, availability, and client satisfaction)Physical RequirementsTravel up to 50%Compensation and BenefitsIn compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $83,700 - $117,200. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
