Job Description Team Summary
The Products and Solutions function is responsible for product management, product strategy, providing the thought leadership and long-term design for the development and growth of Visa’s products across the Asia Pacific region. We work to drive forward Visa’s Product and Solutions roadmap in region, developing and deploying regional and market-led products.
What a Manager, Affluent Products and Solutions, India does at Visa:
Manager, Affluent Products & Solutions, India & South Asia, will report to the Affluent Lead- Consumer Solutions, India, and South Asia and will be responsible for executing key pillars of the affluent strategy. Your efforts will be directed towards development and execution of key customer value propositions, Programs directed towards engaging the Affluent customer thereby leading to measurable and quantifiable impact in the overall performance indicators of cards, payments volume, total volume, market share, international usage, VAS, and other net revenue targets.
You will also overlook portfolio performance, perform data led analytics and help identify and execute corrective action to accelerate portfolio growth, working with Visa internal stakeholders, clients and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow Visa’s market leadership on Affluent products in India by supporting the growth of key clients. Achieve client specific product and volume targets as per budgeted targetsExecute a robust affluent product proposition through product requirements and platforms.Ensure that the affluent proposition is communicated & marketed to users all relevant Visa & client platformsImplement customized campaigns to help increase activation and usage of Visa credentials in the region.Support new clients in developing their affluent go to market strategies, including development of value proposition, acquisition strategies and customer lifecycle management strategies.Partner with internal stakeholders (such as Cross border initiatives) to execute campaigns targeted at improving specific metrics for Affluent customers.Partner with key business stakeholders within Visa to build programs that contribute competitive advantage and revenue growth to deliver the products revenue plan for India. Develop strong cross-functional collaboration with other Visa groups including product, marketing, sales, operations, information services, research, in India and internationally, to provide continual value to clientsExecute initiatives required in India to meet key result areasTrack budgeted activities within designated time limitsTrack ongoing client support activities in respect of Visa solutions and capabilities.Develop and manage service level agreements with vendors.Ensure compliance to Visa Inc policies and guidelines in relations to all consumer products processes. *Why this is important to Visa
The Affluent Product Team is responsible for significant revenue contribution to INSA’s (India and South Asia) overall Affluent play in the market. The Team is expected to track financial performance indicators for Affluent products, consisting of gross revenue targets, opex budget and XB revenue targets. It also includes adoption and scaling of platform benefits, benchmarking and development of the competitive landscape in India for the Affluent products including managing expense forecasting and tracking of competition activities and providing successful counters
Qualifications Professional Experience
Master’s degree in business administration6+ experience in financial services products preferred. Experience in tech companies, ecommerce, fintechs, consulting etc. will be an advantage. Understanding of digital trends and new age payment solutions is important.Should have a very sharp understanding of consumer behavior, product operations, digital journeys, business processes and revenue impact.Good understanding of Visa Products and services is important. Ability to engage with clients and presenting to senior management of clients, Visa, and merchant partners.Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and business development skills as the candidate requires to interact with senior professionals in financial institutions, Visa and alliance partnersStrong understanding of consumer products, solutions, and capabilities with the ability to embed this understanding into partner discussions, commercial agreements, etc.A futurist view, ability to understand and capture trends and a broad understanding of Visa’s capabilities and assetsProven previous engagements evaluating a technology landscape, preferably within finance payments and digital commerce *What will also help:
