Job Title: Aerospace Contracts and Proposals Manager (Onsite)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL - Relocation Assistance Offered
Responsibilities:
Skillfully conceptualize, edit, and refine responses within strict deadlines, maintaining compliance with FAR/DFAR, NIST, and CMMC for US Government RFQs.
Conduct RFQ and contract review meetings, coordinating with other departments and personnel to ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality, and ISO standards.
Assemble and send proposal packages to customers in response to solicitation/RFQ requirements. Follow up with customers and respond to action items as needed.
Lead customer negotiations from initiation to contract award.
Conduct end-to-end contract activities, including negotiation of terms, conditions, and pricing, and effective administration.
Interface with Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping departments regarding order flow down requirements, quality clauses, and best lead times.
Collaborate on an ongoing basis with the Engineering and Marketing departments on technical questions, customer needs, and program updates.
Develop program milestone schedules and ensure all deadlines are met. Work with Engineering to provide program management and/or collect data items and reports as required for customer programs.
Administer commercial quotes in the company's ERP system, participate in pricing meetings, and review purchase order terms and conditions.
Provide support to the Sales Departmental where needed, including assisting with invoice questions, and providing responses to customer surveys/certifications.
Monitor FEDBIZ requirements or other Aerospace databases for opportunities. Research industry trends, new Government and commercial opportunities.
Support, draft and update departmental procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of aerospace industry experience in contract review and technical writing.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, English, Technical Management, or related field.
Extensive experience with drafting, interpreting, and managing contracts and proposals, with Oracle or ERP system experience.
Global contract management experience with knowledge of international regulations.
Excellent communication and computer skills, including mastery of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate or relevant certifications (CPCM, CFCM).
Over 5+ years of Contracts and Proposal Management experience in the Aerospace Industry.
