The AEM Engagement Manager is primarily responsible for the overall leadership of large website and portal implementations leveraging AEM (Sites and Assets) as part of the solution.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable to the Client and Capgemini leadership.
Provide necessary direction for the project team and act as a single point of escalation for all deliverables and issues concerning delivery.
Manages customer relationship, provides support for project management, acts as a liaison between Capgemini and client to plan capacity and staffing for support and future enhancements.
Prepare and present the Monthly and Weekly Program Status Reports.
Establish and maintain the governance framework in order to deliver the necessary project capability to support delivery of the business objectives.
Provide clarity to role definitions and responsibilities.
Single Point of Contact for Delivery.
Maintain the Program Dashboard.
Hold workstream / scrum teams accountable for daily status.
Facilitate the Scrum of Scrums meeting.
Key Skills and Experience
12 years of relevant professional experience and a Bachelor Degree in a relevant area; or without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (15 years in total)
5 years of total experience with Content Management (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) technology across various platforms such as AEM Assets, Sitecore, and other CMS/DAM solutions.
3 years of experience with Adobe AEM as an implementation consultant or client product owner
Experience implementing Portal solutions, e.g. Employee Portal or Supplier Portal
Ability to negotiate with clients
Ability to communicate effectively with clients
Ability to apply consulting skills to solve a client business problem
Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to understand complex business problems and offer meaningful solutions
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Business Practitioner desired, otherwise demonstrate significant progress toward certification by the completion of Adobe course work
Understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service (SaaS), and the differences between the Cloud Service version and the traditional On Prem / Managed Service version of AEM
