Overview
This position delivers strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. Serves as a technical expert on system usage and performance. Determines business requirements and implements appropriate specifications, monitoring for compliance and effectiveness. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes, and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results.System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output.The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $79,643 to $138,047 per year.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations SupportPreferred skills/experience
5+ years as a technical analyst working on application development teams for marketing websites and web applicationsExperienced agile practitioner working on high-performing SCRUM teamsFamiliar with best practices for writing user stories, epics, acceptance criteriaExperience with requirements management tools such as Jira or AZDO and with testing tools such as SynapseRT, AZDO or HP ALMFamiliar with best practices for writing QA test cases, documenting test plans and manual testing of websites and web applicationsAt least 3 years' experience working on the Adobe Experience Manager Sites content management system either on Adobe Managed Services or AEM as a cloud servicePractical hands-on understanding of the AEM sites ecosystem (content author, publisher, dispatcher, DAM, cloud manager, admin console) and experience building custom components, dynamic templatesDirect experience working on an AEM development team responsible for building custom components and other functionalityPractical understanding of web and application technologies such as HTML, JS, CSS, RESTful APIsPrior experience with web accessibility standards
